Chef Norman Van Aken is hosting four-part cookbook dinner event on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Norman’s in Orlando, FL. His most recent book, No Experience Necessary: The Culinary Odyssey of Chef Norman Van Aken (Taylor Trade), chronicles Chef Van Aken’s epic circuitous journey from a carnival worker to the founder of New World Cuisine. The memoir is a delicious joyride spanning twenty-plus years and nearly as many jobs for Van Aken—including the fateful job advertised in the local paper for a short-order cook: “no experience necessary.”

Taking place at Norman’s, located inside The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, the dinner will feature a reception, dinner, book discussion and after-dinner celebrating with live music. Inclusive of the ticket price is a signed copy of either one of his books: My Key West Kitchen or No Experience Necessary.
