THE GRIND – MIAMI’S BURGER BATTLE

MIAMI (March 19, 2012) – On Saturday March 31st, South Florida will have a burger battle unlike any other, in the Arts & Entertainment District of Downtown Miami. Only the best of the best burgers in the 305 and 954 will compete under one roof for the coveted title of Best Burger in South Florida and Golden Grinder Award.

Event goers and local celebrity judges will vote in a variety of categories for their favorite sliders provided by 30 competitors. Creekstone Farms is a major sponsor, providing Certified Premium Black Angus Beef. In addition to burger samples, guests will enjoy open bars offering Blue Moon Beer and Miami Club Rum. The Grind has also partnered with The Miami Culinary Institute at Miami-Dade College to give their talented students hands-on experience while working side-by-side with Miami’s top chefs. In an effort to eliminate food waste, The Grind will participate in Feeding South Florida’s Extra Helpings program, which recovers food that may be leftover to feed the hungry.
