Cupcake shops in Orlando have exploded over the past few years. One of the originals in the Central Florida area is Sweet! By Good Golly Miss Holly. Owner Miss Holly competed on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars television show and won the episode’s competition. The win on Cupcake Wars led her cupcakes to be featured at a celebrity Charity Golf tournament.

I used to go here a lot when the cupcake scene first started a couple of years ago. Red velvet is one of my favorites to try at different cupcake shops and I like to try other flavors to taste the creativity, so pictured here are a couple from Sweet. The cupcakes are large and topped with very sweet icing. Located at the Waterford Lakes Town Center, this dessert shop is busy seving cupcakes and frozen yogurt. Give it a try if you are in the area.
